This is a collage featuring a portion of the portraits I shot for a project known as "Shaping the Self with Portraits and Strokes". The collection was meant to highlight and beautify the experience of being mixed race and finding identity through two halves. 

Many of my freelance jobs have been shooting and editing collections of graduation photos for local students. Portraits are one of my favorite genres because I love working closely with people and bringing out their natural radiance through simple, yet effective edits -- everything from basic color correction to hiding an unsightly pipe in the background. 

This was an experiment for a class project involving real-time lighting effects and digital overlays with live film. It combined my experience in PNG graphics with my video editing skills to serve as a way to dip my toe into the world of VFX.
