Recently, in an attempt to further expand my creative horizons, I've begun dabbling in 3D work. Focusing solely on the software Blender for the time being, I've created a few hard surface projects as well as some early figure sculpts. I think that as creatives, it's important that we push ourselves to try new mediums often to keep ideas fresh and our minds constantly learning.
One of my most recent scuplt attempts featuring an original cartoon character. Here I was testing my boundaries with shading and texturing by attempting a 2D look within a 3D program.
As a die-hard sci-fi fan, I had to try recreating one of the most famous kinds of space ships of all time. I aimed for more of the LEGO style with the body of this X-Wing, giving it a more sleek feel.
A sculpt recreation of the famous Venus de Milo. I really tried to push myself here with a complex sculpt involving not only the human body, but heavy folds of clothing as well.
